In this work, a novel composite (MnO2/Graphene/Nickel foam) as a supercapacitor electrode was fabricated by facile electrochemical methods. The microstructure, morphology, and topographies were characterized by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and alpha step microscopy. The electrochemical properties of this novel composite were investigated by cyclic voltammetry, galvanostatic charge/discharge and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy measurements in 0.5 M Na2SO4 electrolyte, and getting a high specific capacitance. Furthermore, asymmetric supercapacitore can improve the cell voltage window to 2 V.
