對於其他外系的學生來說，中文系的課程是那麼平淡無奇，沉悶乏味。課程不外乎學習先人思想、詩詞歌賦等文謅謅的東西，對於不擅長古文的學生的確是一大難關。但我的老師讓我徹底對中文系既有的教學方式改觀了。他是周德良老師，教我中國思想史老師，在他的教導下改變了不少我對中國三大思想流派儒道法的想法。大家都只懂孔子說性本善，而荀子都說人本惡，道家則是什麼都不管什麼都不理。若要以尋常的方式去理解這些不同流派的思想背景，那必定是途中大家都會加入周公那派的。但老師講解的方式極之創新，他都以日常的生活例子來詮釋各家流派的思想觀，令我印象最深刻的是他以海綿寶寶來形容道家的無為，以海綿寶寶的放蕩不羈來表達道家的逍遙境界。
